Education Opportunities

The Holmes County Dog Warden’s Department can provide the community with a variety of educational opportunities to promote dog safety and care. Our doors are open to groups that wish to visit and learn about our facility. Our staff can also visit your school and present to classrooms. We have a power point presentation but also can present without technology. Our presentations are tailored for grades K-8 but can also entertain adults. We cover important topics such as dog care, dog bite prevention, what a dog warden does, and what Ohio’s dog laws are. We do our very best to get kids involved and excited. We also have a booth set up every year at the Holmes County Fair and Holmes County’s Amish Health and Safety Day. Please call today to schedule an educational experience.
