2019 PAINT FOR PAWS ART CONTEST
Help us take care of our dogs with medical needs by participating in our annual paint for paws art contest. Money raised during this fundraiser will go in to the departments medical fund.
The themes are as follows: coonhound shenanigans, sports and dogs in nature.
Age Groups are as follows: Grades k-4, Grades 5-8 and Adult
There is a $5.00 entry fee for each piece entered in to the contest. Artwork can be paintings or drawings.
All art work submitted will be hung on our walls for the entire year of 2019. In addition to being on on our wall one winner in each age group will be selected. Voting will be done via our Facebook page.
Prizes are as follows;
K-4 Winner will receive one free art lesson at the Holmes Center for the Arts.
Grades 5-8 winner will have the opportunity to paint a large poster showing the departments cost and fees that will be displayed outside of our building in a weather proof poster case. The design will be at the discretion of the artist.
Adult winner will receive one free painting session with local artist Laura McCartney.
Art work must be submitted to the Holmes County Dog Warden’s Department by January 31, 20
